Sara Shenouda, CPA - Senior Accountant

Sara joined the firm in July 2016. In addition to taking care of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, she assists with audits and assurance engagements, as well as tax compliance. Sara received her CPA certificate in 2006 and she is a member of both the AICPA and IL CPA Society.

Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Sara earned her Bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2003 from Ain Sham University in Cairo. She worked as a staff auditor at BDO in Cairo before she moved to California in 2006, where she joined Arra & Associates as a staff accountant. In 2009, she got married and moved to Illinois. The same year, Sara began to work as a senior accountant at KKS & Co. in Northbrook, IL.

Sara lives in Vernon Hills with her husband and two boys. She loves to cook and entertain, making up her own culturally blended recipes on the go. In her spare time, she also enjoys coloring. Sara is active in her Coptic Orthodox Church, where she teaches Sunday school classes.
