Ryan Simpson - Manager, Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS)

Ryan first joined the firm in June of 2017 as one of our staff accountants. He now manages the Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS) department, focusing on bookkeeping, compliance and advisory services for many of our clients. He also assists with tax compliance and audit services.

Ryan graduated from Purdue University Northwest with a bachelor’s degree in business and a concentration in accounting. During the three years he spent there, he worked at Nugent & Co., LLC, a job that granted him full immersion in accounting and tax work, and at a bank, where he learned about compliance with various regulations. Working these two jobs side by side for a year, he realized he was cut out for accounting given his strong attention to detail.

Ryan lives in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife, Haley. He previously commuted to the office but now works remotely, as is the current trend with accounting professionals. Growing up in a small town, he learned much from the people close to him, including his previous bosses, who also happened to be his mentors and sports coaches. To this day, Ryan enjoys the outdoors and the stunning sites nature provides. In his free time, he likes to travel around the U.S. with the goal of visiting every national park at least once.
