Jacqueline joined the firm in 2014 as a new member of the administrative team and currently assists Susan with various administrative tasks and payroll. Jacqueline was born and raised in Switzerland, where she worked in book sales for three years after finishing up her certification. Upon moving to the U.S., she went back to school to earn first her bachelor’s degree in English from the School for New Learning at DePaul University, then her Master’s in Writing, also from DePaul.
After completing her degrees, Jacqueline taught Freshman Composition at Benedictine University, then freelanced for a translation company in Switzerland as an editor and translator. Using her bilingual skills, she began to work for the Regional Director of the Americas of Switzerland Trade & Investment Promotion in 2009. When the Regional Director retired in 2013, she took over as assistant to the Consul General at the Consulate General of Switzerland before joining the firm.
Jacqueline likes to interact with children of all ages. She takes her own two daughters horseback riding and bicycling every now and then. She also enjoys dancing with her partner, particularly the Latin styles. And whenever she gets a chance to visit her native country, a hike through the Swiss Alps takes high priority.
